Climate change, warming oceans causing more rapid intensification in hurricanes

It took just over 24 hours for Idalia to strengthen from a Category 1 hurricane to a Category 4, before it finally lost some steam as it ran into the Florida Panhandle. The rapid intensification of hurricanes, which is being fuelled by warming oceans, is becoming a major concern.
